Mirambika Crisis – Sarvodaya residents hold a candlelight protest march against the technical college

The protesters were holding ‘Save Sarvodaya – Say No To College’, ‘Say No To Traffic & Parking Chaos’, ‘Land Grabbers Go Back’, ‘Save Mirambika’, etc placards. Some Mirambika & MIS parents and children and some residents of Vijay Mandal & Kalu Sarai also joined them in support. There were impromptu ‘Save Mirambika’ slogan shouting. Some protesters were teary eyed as the fixed candles near the two closed gates. No one came out from the Ashram to talk to the protesters. Independent TV media covered this event with interest.

From SAES’s side Vikrant Abrol was seen tracking and photographing the protest march. He was seen talking animatedly to a few Mirambika parents and he even attempted to talk to the media. It is not known in what capacity was he doing so. Just like the recently busted Dera Ram Rahim, at the closed Gate No 6, a video camera team atop the the guardhouse was seen filming the protesters from inside the Ashram. God knows for what?

Yeah, please do save Sarvodaya from becoming a colony of builder flats. Please save sarvodaya from parking on the streets. And please do save the road going to Begumpur Village from all the illegal parking blocking traffic.

Please also save students passing out from schools but do not find a seats in colleges of Delhi because land allocated for that purpose has been boarded off illegally by schools for children of allegedly elite parents.

Those who live in glasshouses do not throw stone at others.

    This case is becoming interesting.
    Good luck!

YES Sarvodaya Enclave People are pampered. We want to preserve the residential nature of our living spaces, and not go the Vijay mandal way with opening FITJEE.
We are selfish creatures. Yeah Right!!

This college would have happened on the SLY clandistinely, and illegally by procuring approvals without any social impact assessments. Thats fair.

Sarvodaya Residents dont want Engineering College.

Scrolling up – seems to be a comment that implies that the proposed engineering institute is a social service?!?!
Who on earth can buy that one.
    It’s a classic.
It almost beats the highest moral ground taken by some over other forums. A pity the person isn’t rightfully named to claim the prize.
    The prize.
    Now what could that be?
Wouldn’t you like to find out?
