From those who received them and some insiders, its learnt that desperate calls are being made by SAES reps to some of the 36 petitioners (5 0r 6 of these had earlier signed the SAES prepared intervention petition without being shown its contents and or the SAES reply) who filed a petition yesterday to intervene in favor of the 9 original parent petitioners seeking restoration of Mirambika to its pre 14/4 premises. In order to break some of them away, inducement of MIS admissions for their kids, veiled and not so veiled threats of closing down the school and withdrawal of Diyas (teachers) and facilities, etc are being used by these reps – all under PJ’s instructions.
It seems that a counsel for the 36 petitioners served the said petition on SAES earlier this morning and that it is much more comprehensive than the petition of the 9 original parent petitioners in as much as it covers all the facts and documents, constitutional, legal and contractual grounds to press the same successfully. Meanwhile, in support of their petition, the 9 original parent petitioners and their counsel are reported to have burnt the midnight oil through the last few days. Surely, July 17th is going to be a fighting day in the Court for all parties concerned.
